Online Response #2

This response is meant to serve as a bridge between discussions of culture, socialization, and groups. Choose either one primary or one secondary group you belong to (state whether you chose primary or secondary, what the group is, and why it’s a primary or secondary group) and describe how the group has socialized you to understand one nonmaterial and one material product of culture. Then, find a classmate’s post around a group you belong to as well that you did not post about and comment how that group socialized you to understand one nonmaterial and one material product of culture besides the ones discussed by your classmate (ex. you posted about family and you comment on someone’s post that discussed school; they posted about A and B products of culture, so you comment with C and D).

My chosen material product of culture I was socialized to understand is _________, which means/which functions as ___________.
